ASYC Curriculum
Early childhood is the most important phase in a person's formative life. Research have proven that development of the brain and important life skills are enormously influenced by early childhood experiences, and this is the key that determines their attitude towards all their future learning.
In ASYC, our curriculum complements the MOET's Vietnamese preschool curriculum so as to reinforce learning in a culturally-appropriate environment.
Units
ASYC's preschool curriculum adopts a thematic approach to learning to compliment the local curriculum. Themes are covered in Units of Learning so that a child learns various subjects in one unit. This introduces an inter-disciplinary approach to learning. In other words, we teach our children that language, math, science and art are related to each other and not separate subjects. Through this approach, children learn from a young age that subjects are connected and related.
